Beautiful set of sterling silver yoked asparagus tongs with pierced blades in a tulip pattern. Hallmarked with lion passant indicating sterling silver, Sheffield city mark, and date mark for 1951, the last year of the reign of George VI. Maker's mark of Mappin & Webb, a venerable British jeweler and silver retailer.
Condition is excellent with very light wear.
