On that trip I found my very first tapa cloth textiles. I had just been to the Met in NYC where'd I seen a Byzantine show and many of the motifs appeared vaguely in the tapa cloths I would a see a week later in Paris. I have incredible memories of tapa cloth as a result. So imagine my excitement when I found this piece! I will be posting several others that I also found. They are from the 70s. See less
