This one-of-a-kind contemporary Oushak rug marries transitional style with unmistakable tribal imagery to create a truly lovely and unique piece. The abrashed rust colored field features an all-over geometric pattern composed of a latch-hook diamond, eight-point stars, s-hooks, checkerboard cubes, and ambiguous Anatolian motifs. The attractive design in the corner spandrels are comprised of a rectangle decorated with repeating s-hooks. It is enclosed with a rectilinear floral leafy border flanked with an inner and outer angular meandering guard band. Rendered in variegated shades of rust, terra cotta, brick red, blue, green, tan, taupe, light yellow, brown, beige, and oatmeal with other accent colors. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Pakistan.
