A wonderful, rare pair of original F557 swivel lounge chairs with matching P510 ottoman by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, 1960s. The chairs and ottoman retain the original cream and black woven fabric and feature original black painted metal bases. Original Artifort label intact on one chair base, (see photo). The P510 ottoman features original labeling, a stamped Artifort logo as well as a manufacturer No. 0123456813.
Precursor of the globe chair, these "oyster" chairs were produced for only a short period of time by Artifort, (production ended 1965) with no re-issues.
Original upholstery is in very good condition with very minor, faint staining, (see photos) consistent with age and use. Bases are in original condition with some scratches, (see photos). Dimensions: Chairs, 35"W x 33" D x 30"H; seat height, 14"H; Ottoman, 30"W x 21"D x 15"H. less
