Paris porcelain table centerpiece tazza. Decorated with rich gilding on an apple green ground. Three very large animal paw feet support a triangular plateau below a baluster shaft and pierced reticulated bowl. Measures 12" diameter x 11.5" tall. The gilding is raised in relief and shown in both matte and bright burnished finishes. Decorative motifs include various trophies of the French Empire period including classical masks. A rare piece in this size and quality seen in English country house museums. Excellent condition - minor rubbing of enamel consistent with age does not detract. Unmarked.
