The box dates to the later part of the 20th century. The lacquer box is adorned with makie. The cover features refined makie decoration surrounding a triangle design center reserve. As can be seen in the last two photos. The box originally was fitted with a lacquered stand. Unfortunately, the stand has been damaged and the price point reflects the damage. We are including (the stand as a courtesy) as it would be a pity to separate it from its box less
