His portfolio of work is far greater than most of his contemporaries, spanning across centuries of his life and for a multitude of furniture manufacturers. Perhaps one of his most well known manufacturing relationships was one with the renown Thayer Coggin, a marriage from which these thin-frame dining chairs were born.

This particular Milo Baughman piece is model 1187-110 which he designed in 1971. They exhibit the delicate proportions from 1960’s design as well as a bit of glamour from 1970’s design; the perfect marriage. The chairs offer a generously sized fully upholstered seat, redone using gorgeous mohair in the color Gunmetal. The color and quality of the fabric is a wonderful complement to their brilliant polished stainless steel frames. Baughman’s thin-frame design gives each chair a weightless quality which allows them to effortlessly exist in any dining space.
