The NME Album of the Year, "Closer" was released in July 1980, just a couple of months after the agonising death of singer Ian Curtis. Regarded as one of the era defining Post-Punk albums, the groundbreaking release received great critical and commercial praise.
This wonderful poster is from the original promotion of the single in 1980, sent to record stores and features the album artwork depicting the Appiani Family Tomb in Genoa, Italy. The poster is in great condition.
