A finely carved reverse dragon in white adorns the front and a reverse drawn, white fenghuang adorns the back, all with finely drawn, incised details, amid stylized clouds and flames. The neck is decorated with stylized clouds and flanked by stylized pixiu handles. A blue and white, rectangular cartouche with a six character, Xuande, reign mark is glazed just below the neck. The bottom of the vase is banded with finely carved, reverse drawn, white, ocean waves ending in five, blue, trim rings, just above the extended foot. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century. See less
