André Delatte was one of a small number of highly creative, successful art glass manufacturers during the Art Nouveau-Art Deco periods; others included Lalique, Muller, Schneider, Gallé, and so on. If you look for examples of Delatte's work you'll be impressed!
This soaring, hand-wrought iron fixture has lots going for it visually, and the three subtly colored (signed) Delatte shades seal the deal.
A buttery yellow color is contrasted by light and dark purples and there is a hint of light green here and there.
Rewired and fitted with American candelabra sockets (inside the original French socket shells), each capable of employing a 60-watt bulb for a total of 180 watts of light. Put this on a dimmer and you’ll wow the crowd at dusk or later!
