Description: We are selling this exceptional Black Forest carved plaque. This German or Swiss plaque features the spoils of hunting in … more We are selling this exceptional Black Forest carved plaque. This German or Swiss plaque features the spoils of hunting in the form of two harvested Quail or pheasant game birds carved in great detail on a walnut panel. The plaque does have some old damages and repairs but is an earlier example probably late 19th century.

Condition: Several old damages and repairs. One of the back panels is repaired and there are small chips and losses to the plaque including one of the birds feet.
