A circa 1960s 39-bottle wrought iron wine rack by Arthur Umanoff, originally offered by Boyeur Scott Furniture Co., and later by Shaver Howard.
The heavy arched frame nicely echoes the body of a wine bottle and neatly contains 39 slots with hooped ends connected by thin support rods. On short legs with original rubber foot caps and finished on all sides allowing for flexible room placement.
A very successful marriage of form and function, with simple geometric lines that intersect and overlap to create a visually interesting complexity when viewed from any angle.
