Description: Two beautiful antique flow blue souvenir plates. One is of the Indiana State Capitol Building and the other is of … more Two beautiful antique flow blue souvenir plates. One is of the Indiana State Capitol Building and the other is of Rhode Island historical sites and events. The Indiana plate has a floral design around the border and the Rhode Island plate features historical sites on the border, with the Landing of Roger Williams in the center. Both of these plates have the rich deep blue and heavy weight of the old plates. The State House Indianapolis Indiana plate is marked Retrus Regout Maastricht, Made in Holland, and an imprinted 8 1/2 and an "F". By the mark, I think this dates to the 1880s. The Rhode Island plate is marked, "No. 3 Ye Olde Historical Pottery, Staffordshire England." Again using the marking, I think this one is probably early 1900s. These would be great to hang as decor, but also are very usable as well. The Indianapolis plate is slightly larger in size, at 9 1/2", while the Rhode Island plate is about 9". less
