Add some elegance and sophistication to your front entry door with this remarkable set of identical American cast bronze lock sets with plates salvaged from a Mid-west mansion a few years ago. The lock sets consists of oval door knobs, oval-shaped plates and locks manufactured by Corbin after the turn of the 19th century. The knobs and plates are made of a quality brass and have a wonderful antique finish and a uniform, intact patina.
The deadbolt, latch, thumb turn and locking inner mechanisms are all in excellent working condition. One lock is equipped with a deadbolt that operates by means of the thumb turn. The surfaces are in excellent condition with normal wear from age and use. Please note the patent dates at the bottom of the locks as shown. Keys are not included with these lock sets but they can be easily be rekeyed by your local locksmith at a reasonable price.
This rare find would make a fine addition to any classic, distinctive home and are indeed very characteristic of quality craftsmanship at the end of the Victorian period.
