Chinese porcelain blue and white dragon bianhu vase, a finely shaped, flask form vase, with a blue and white glazed … Read more Chinese porcelain blue and white dragon bianhu vase, a finely shaped, flask form vase, with a blue and white glazed exterior, a white glazed interior and an unglazed, flat base. The upper neck is accented with a band of cloud and thunder meanders bracketed by double trim circles with a band of large leafy lappets at the bottom of the neck, flanked by two, arching handles. Two, finely drawn, five-clawed sky dragons amid stylized clouds and flames decorate the front and back of the vase. A blue, four character, Yongle reign mark in Zhuanshu script is glazed just below the neck. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century. See less
