This is a 1928 vintage French print that originally appeared as a story illustration in a French magazine from 1928. It is original to that time and NOT a recent reproduction print. It is a whimsical image entitled "Tennis-Flirt". Note the playfulness of the image. She is a player with tennis and she appears to be "playing" him as well, thus the appropriate title. This image makes a great gift for the woman who loves the game of tennis. Excellent, clean condition. Sport related themed prints are rare and very difficult to find. This is the first time in all our years of collecting that we have this image. Signed by the artist, George Pavis, (1886-1951) in lower right. Pavis was a humorist who illustrated for French magazines. 6.75 x 9.25 inches in size. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch mat ready for a standard size frame. Please allow time for custom matting. less
