BAILA FELDMAN

Baila Feldman was a talented artist active in Berkeley, California in the 1960s and early 1970s. She won numerous awards and had dozens of exhibitions in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and other, farther, places such as New York and Malaga Spain.
After four strong years of dedicating herself to her passion, producing less than 300(estimated)original paintings, she passed away from breast cancer.

Much of her work was whimsical, and playful, with some pieces focusing on historical themes. Very few of her pieces are believed to exist. Many of her later paintings involved foil-leafed gold skies... Silver leafed skies are considered her rarest, as very few are believed to have been made. less
