A fine pair of Maison Charles Paris Directoire French silvered- bronze wall sconces. They cross influences of the Directoire and Neoclassical styles and have silvered bronze medusa plaques on a red backplate. They also have red covered socket sleeves adding a perfect touch. They have a lot of designs on them from the arms to the crown, the frame, the arrows and the crossed tassels. They can work in a myriad of settings from traditional to Empire to modern.
