It is rare to find a pair in this remarkable state of preservation because the firing of the white biscuit on the celadon glaze is extremely difficult as they require different kiln temperatures.
Often the biscuit burns and turns black. It can take the making of as many as 10 vases to produce on good one having been made in old wood burning dragon kilns. These should be considered an investment that will continue to increase in value over time, much like fine antique furniture. less
