Our Solid Walnut Table on Modern Blackened Steel Base combines elements of minimalism and rustic, industrial design. The distinct grain of urban timber, locally harvested in Birmingham, Alabama, plays off the elegant and modern "Sunrise" pedestal Base. Shining as the centerpiece of a residential or commercial room, this table makes a refined statement of beauty paired with utility and functionality. Simple lines of strong, square steel support this intriguing, solid walnut tabletop. Always a favorite, the dramatic grain of wide planks of lustrous walnut glow through a clear, low sheen, surface varnish. Artfully applied patches and black epoxy fills are utilized as needed.
