This work of art is an original oil painting numbered N10 from the Themes and Variations collection created for an exhibition held at JBS Gallery in London, Ontario, Canada from November 19, 2020 - December 31, 2020.
This painting evoked memories of Gustav Klimt for many viewers who saw this painting exhibited in the gallery. Created without any specific reference to Klimt or symbolism perhaps the square patterns in this painting provoked memories of the Austrian master for some.
For the artist, this painting was created with a view to studying the different textures, effects and aesthetic the various blues paints in her palette would create.
