With its luminous warm hues and beguiling beauty, this hand-knotted wool antique Oushak rug is immersed in Anatolian history. The abrashed beige field features four stacked lozenges decorated with eight-point stars, stylized florals, and Anatolian motifs. A variety of frenzied stylized florals grace each corner spandrel. It is enclosed with a repeating botanical border flanked with an inner running water guard band and an outer acanthus scroll guard band.
