Guggenheim Museum in New York City. This book was a Special issue of the XXe Siecle Review (French). The 160-page hardcover in jacket includes 126 plates in color and 128 reproductions in black-and-white. The treasures, to be found, are two full-size color lithographs (approx.9" x 12") displayed here. The Israeli Agam is a master of optical and kinetic art, which I interpret as always moving - never static -so the perception may change in any given moment. This is his spiritual intention, as explained in the jacket leaf. Agam's art works sell for thousands of dollars, and sometimes many hundreds of thousands. This book, which is a complete survey of his works, is in very good condition. The book is clean, bright and unmarked. The striking illustrated front and back jacket also is very good. A tag ghost is at the bottom of the front cover. Otherwise, just a bit of wear to the top edges of the jacket. If you aren't a fan of Agam's art, perhaps you will be after reading this stunning book.
