With ornate details and well-balanced symmetry combined with a feminine color palette, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug beautifully embodies Romantic Georgian style. The abrashed pinkish-mauve field features a botanical lattice design composed of blooming palmettes, roundels, stylized florals, serrated leaves, and rosettes. It is enclosed with a turtle vine scroll border flanked with an inner and outer floral meander guard border. Rendered in variegated shades of rose, mauve, cerulean, dark blue, beige, sand, taupe, robin's egg blue, and taupe with other accent colors. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Turkey.
