Although Pearl-Wick hassocks came in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors back in the day, this Pearl-Wick hassock is the Cadillac of hassocks with its striking candy-apple red color. It also features a sleek mid-century modern design with four square buttons on a padded seat and four bottom wheels that make it easy to move around.

This hassock is in truly excellent vintage condition. There are no holes or tears in the soft and supple vinyl upholstery. The lid stays open when you want it to, and the wheels are in excellent working order. It is very clean.

Of course, there is some age-appropriate wear and signs of use, including a small area of rust on the back bottom rim, some small areas of chipping paint on the rim in front and a small area of slight discoloration on the vinyl (see photos). These imperfections do not detract from the overall look of this gorgeous piece, however, which is in remarkably good shape given its age and use. less
