Even the back of this painting tells a story, as it has the original tag still attached from the hotel where it hung in Tehran, Iran during the 1960s. The tag explains exactly where it hung in the hotel and the gallery from which it was on loan from.

The painting was created by world renown artist Cyrus Afsary, most notably known for his landscapes but once upon a time spent a moment in Tehran, where he painted the subjects of this city. He is formally trained and currently live in the Arizona, where his subject matter now focusing on Native American subjects.
