Made in Italy. Very rare for Baker at that time to make this kind of a piece overseas, only one on the market and the ONLY one of its kind. You’re truly purchasing a piece of art history. Comes with two keys. Exquisite red and black leather lining. This was professionally restored by an Art Restoration specialist. It is in excellent condition for its age. The unit does come in two pieces as demonstrated in the photos. If you want to use the bottom separate from the top you can but please be aware there are some surface scratches on the bottom half due to the top always being attached. In my opinion it looks more exquisite with the top attached. One of the photos has three separate red shelves which can be placed in the top half of the Secretary if you want to open the doors and store some things there or use it as a display.
