The entire lamp shows an even amount of small dents throughout the base with scuffs and chips to paint with light surface oxidation wherein contact with ground. Chrome shows light surface oxidation. Stem has a few nicks and scratches. Shade has a subtle warp and light scratches dents in areas. Has been tested and appears to be in working order. Euro plug with converter supplied. less

Originally created in 1982, Ettore Sottsass’ “horn” of light creates the remarkable illusion of an oversized musical instrument. I have verified with Artemide that this is one of the early models, featuring the exterior fuse cap towards base (later relocated near dimmer). A floor-standing lamp, the body is aluminum painted yellow with a polished chrome handle, steel diffuser polished red and a steel base painted gray. Incorporated dimmer. A silhouette that is well-known by discerning design enthusiasts. less
