Sperlich for Ironrite in the late 1930's, yet still retains its fresh, timeless look almost 80 years later. Since becoming part of MOMA's permanent collection, these chairs have been introduced to collectors around the world. This chair has been fully restored to a pristine condition down to the custom reproduced "Ironrite Health Chair" golden water transfer on the back rest. All the steel has been sandblasted and powder coated, The plywood chair parts finished in an automotive grade paint. All the original hardware was either re-chromed, re-zinc plated and where applicable replaced with stainless steel fasteners. The bottoms of each leg are protected by natural cork to prevent marring. No time or expense was sparred in bringing this chair back to it's glory. Chair will ship partially disassembled with instructions for easy assembly (only 6, 1/4" )bolts. Fully assembled chair can also be shipped for an additional fee. I have an additional 6 chairs available restored to the same condition. less
