Published in 1950 by Virginia Adams (wife of Anselm Adams), Yosemite National Park and Houghton Mifflin, the book features 30 images taken on the California Coast south of Carmel in the Point Lobos State Reserve. It also includes a forward by Dody Easton--Weston's last assistant and later his daughter-in-law, excerpts from Weston's day book and a tribute from Ansel Adams. (Note to bibliophiles: on the inside back cover is a sticker showing this book was purchased at the legendary "Paul Elder's Books San Francisco")

The oversized book measures 14.5" x 12" . The cover is of black card stock with white lettering and white comb spiral binding. 79 pages, with 30 duotone photographs, taken from 1928-1942. less
