This is the first 16mm home movie projector introduced in 1924 by Eastman Kodak for use with their new 16mm film format.
The Kodascope model C was manufactured by Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York and patented in September, 1924. It used a Westinghouse running motor.
It has the original black bodied Kodak glass projection lens and the original wire cage ventilated housing for the lamp.
This is a massively built, yet compact piece and is in excellent original condition.
It is the first one of these we have found and a rare example of an archaic and very collectible Kodak piece.
This special antique is sold for display purposes but is complete, unmolested and all original. Chairish sells electronic items only with the display as the intended use. The electronic elements are not guaranteed to be in working order by Chairish. less
