Campbell done in the Art- … more A beautiful antique embossed portrait of a young woman from the studio of Alfred S. Campbell done in the Art- Relievo method. Campbell invented and patented a process call "Art -Relievo" which produced three-dimensional (embossed) reproductions from platinum photographic prints. This method of art was costly due to the high cost of making molds and the machinery required, and thus was short lived . It is a rare find to locate one today. This print is an original and in the original frame. The original backing paper has been removed. The photographed
