Renaissance revival marquetry inlaid, ebonized and gilt parlor table with exquisite details and character. This table is made from several different wood types and finished in black with gold trim and several shades of brown. The top marquetry depicts a bearded face on two sides, musical notes in the center, and birds on the two ends, surrounded by plants. It rolls on small wooden wheels and has a piece of protective glass on top. It is very elaborate, very labor intensive and would have been a status symbol back in the day. It came out of a multi-million dollar estate that also had lots of antique French furniture.
41.5" at the widest point, 27.25" at the deepest point, 31.25" high.
