This tray has a base color of glossy burgundy, the textured areas of the pottery are finished in a bottle green color, dark gray & a red tone. This Planter tray could also be used on a desk or dresser. The tray measures 14 inches at the longest point, 8.5 inches at the widest point & stands 2.5 inches at it's tallest. The tray has a ruffle lip and rounded corners, there is a outer top border of textured ceramic that visually makes up 80% of the visible outer wall of the tray. This Planter tray is in good vintage condition with minimal, superficial damage, common to vintage items of this age. We also have a corresponding vase made with the same style and finish as this tray, also made by Aborn California Ceramics & also for sale in our available stock. - This piece is in good vintage condition as there is no crazing and there are no cracks to speak of. … moreThis piece is in good vintage condition as there is no crazing and there are no cracks to speak of. However there are some tiny chips out of two of the corners & there is a spot where the glaze is missing on the interior of the tray, which appears to have been caused by the glaze bubbling during the firing process. There are two spots where the finish is missing around the outside of the tray, at the bottom edge, right where the tray meets the surface whatever it is set upon, honestly I can't say if that is from age or, if like the naked spot from the glaze bubble, it is simply a minor flaw that occurred in the crafting of the piece. It is minimally visible unless one examines the piece closely. less
