Offering a stunning piece of Americana Folk Art from the Late 1800s. This duck decoy was hand-carved from a piece of highly grained pine that has aged beautifully including a crack along one side that adds to its charm and character. The head is from a different type of unidentified wood with no grain and a lighter color. It’s possibly maple. The contrast with the pine body is unique and interesting. This is a great mantel, bookshelf or side table piece.
