It … Read more This stunning 18th Century Louis XV console table has a gilt carved base and a beautiful ogee marble top. It was designed with elegant restraint and stylized detail. The dark grey and black marble top has lovely tones of earthy reds throughout. The gilt paint with red undertone accents complement the multi colored marble top.

The marble has age appropriate wear with some flea bites around the corners and edges and an old repair. The marble top has some scuffs and scratches, as shown in the photos. There are areas that are worn, chipped & cracked on the base, as shown in the photos. Some old touch ups were done to the paint. The patina on the base has different grades of coloration and a time worn crunchy authentic surface, as shown in photos. Antique items have been previously owned and loved, and will show some level of wear consistent with this prior use.
