Pair of chicken themed accent chairs in near pristine condition. The wood is painted a deep red and I would dare say, these might be one-of-a-kind.. The fabric looks like a natural heavy muslin with the chickens and butterfly embroidered. I darkened the last closeup photo so you can see the texture/embroidery. A Fantastic Find! From a Pinehurst, North Carolina estate.
My thoughts: I believe these are old English chairs that was given a new life. They are very sturdy and are painted with a really good enamel paint, probably sprayed on as I can not find any brush marks, and then professionally reupholstered.
