The heavy pair … Read more These bookends with busts of young boys have a rich bronze patina and a very sculptural look.

The heavy pair of gray metal molded bookends have a patina of a rich dark brown bronze. The design is of the busts of two matching boys heads. On the front of the rectangular base is the word YOUTH.

One the back of both bookends is a molded “W.B.” on a shield inside a circle. “COPYRIGHT U.S.A.” and the number 639 are stamped on both bookends

MEASUREMENTS
4 ½” (11.4 cm) tall x 3” (7.6 cm) wide x 2 3/8” (6.0 cm) deep. Weighs 3 lb 10.5 oz (1660 g)

CONDITION
There are small patina losses on edges. They look gold or copper and don’t stand out. There are some small patina losses on the back that show up as little gray spots. There are no cracks, dents or breaks. The bookends are missing their felt on their bases.

A nice useful, highly collectible pair of bookends. You can never have enough bookends. See less
