Referred to as "Malachite Glass" because of the stunning green detail made to resemble the stone itself. Part of the Ingrid series from the 1930s. The top depicts the Goddess Horae, holding an hourglass. She is the Goddess of seasons according to Greek Mythology. Beveled edges on both lid and base add to the detail and craftmanship of the time. less
