Eagle Bay Heirlooms is pleased to offer this fantastic estate find. A very dainty and feminine porcelain oyster plate with a varigated-scalloped edge with five circular wells, and a center well known as the turkey oyster plate. It is stamped Haviland & Co L FRANCE and was made for the prestigious Importer, Wood, Bricknall & Potter of Providence, R.I.
The delicate decoration is a stunning capture of rose florets formed in a swag garland around the band, a center well is also decorated with the same roses. Tiny green designs are around the outer rim and circle through the round wells which have a raised embossing. There is no gilding to this plate, just smooth plain rim.
This rare mark dates this to the late 1800's, 1875-1882.

Condition: Excellent antique condition.
