An intuitive painter, Monica uses which ever medium will best help her express her ideas and in this piece she explores the various shades and values found in nature, particularly on the beaches on the east end of Long Island, New York, by using texture and layers with oil paint. Punctuating her rhythmic, gestural marks with varying shades of blue, pink, and green, Monica creates a vivid and energetic painting that will add dimension, depth, and a pop of color to any space.
