Born in England in the early 20th century, executed in traditional early 17th century English Jacobean / French Louis XIII style, crafted of rich solid oak, having a rectangular wooden slab top with rounded corners, over conforming case chest fitted with two dovetailed drawers, simple decorative recessed paneled fronts and sides, rising on sturdy box-stretcher joined turned supports.


Good original antique / vintage condition with nicely aged patina warm rustic patina over the whole. Very strong, sturdy, stable, and structurally sound. Retaining original antique character marks and charm throughout, including scattered scratches and minor wear consistent with age and indicative of use.
