Originally designed in 1965, the Roxy … more For your consideration is this pair of fully restored Milo Baughman "Roxy" swivel chairs. Originally designed in 1965, the Roxy swivel-tilt tub chair is a modern classic. Featuring button tufting and a unique swivel-tllt mechanism, Roxy is a timeless lounge chair for all environs. This particular pair has been stripped down to the original wooden frames and completely rebuilt using all new upholstery grade foam and to the trade Holly Hunt velvet textile. The swivel bases have been professionally restored using new walnut veneer as per original Thayer Coggin specifications. The Holly Hunt textile used is from the Great Plains Collection and is particularly dynamic with its intricate patterns and subtle sheen. The base color is a dark navy with the patterning embossed over top in gray. Really pairs quite well with the chairs as it is very contemporary but also feels reminiscent of the period. Each chair measures 28" wide by 30" deep and 27" tall with a seat height of 17". less
