This refined modernist flush mount was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- during the 20th century. It features a billowing conical shade in striated Murano glass- replete with swirling abstractions- that attaches to a sculptural polished brass base. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful glass quality, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
