The stunning Italian limestone wellhead was hand carved and rests on four pieces of limestone that make up its round base. The intricate banded wrought iron overthrow curves gracefully and beautifully complements the design of flowing vines and grapes on the well. Vintage items have been previously owned and loved and will show some level of wear consistent with this prior use. The wonderfully aged patina of the iron has a cracked & chippy surface in some areas, as shown in the photos. There are small cracks on both sides and an old repair (on one side) where the iron goes into the limestone. The photos serve as an additional description.
