- This is the informal Iroquois china made in Syracuse, NY. This design, blue Vineyard was only made from 1967- 1969, … more This is the informal Iroquois china made in Syracuse, NY. This design, blue Vineyard was only made from 1967- 1969, so there's not a lot of it available. The colors are lush, rich with the purples, blues, and olive greens of the late 60s era. The colors are bright and clear, no aging in the design or the china itself. There's no hazing, crazing or chips whatsoever. The pieces are in as near mint condition as you can get without actually using a time machine. The design is that of a sketchbook that was brought to life with vivid color and bold strokes. Iroquois had 2 designers during this time, Seibel and Russel Wright. I've seen some of the Wright designs, particularly his sketch designs he did for Serv' Elegance and I think they would pair well with this design. His designs are simpler, but it would definitely work. I have a rather large assortment of this design right now, and I'm putting the items up in the next week. If you don't already follow me on Chairish, I highly recommend that you do, as you will be given notifications on new listings and discounts. I really expect these to go fast, but I could be wrong.
