José María Jardines, a native of Cádiz , studied at the School of Fine Arts in his hometown, and later, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid . His career as a painter developed in Paris for several years. He held exhibitions in the French capital, as well as in Cádiz and Madrid. In 1914 he returned to Cádiz, where he was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. (1862-1920). less
