Description: A mid-century taffy or ribbon table in the style of Tony Duquette in a warm yellow color with a half … more A mid-century taffy or ribbon table in the style of Tony Duquette in a warm yellow color with a half inch thick original plate glass top. Sturdy and quite heavy, the table seems to have experienced some sun fading in areas over the years. It also has some little scuffs along the base and the glass top has scratches in it from years of use, but neither detract from its overall appearance. With its large size, standing at 28” wide x 22” deep and 20” high, it can serve as an end table or coffee table. On the underside is remnants of its original maker’s label—from what one can read, an educated guess would be the Stanley Furniture Company in North Carolina. I don’t know if they manufactured some of Duquette’s furniture line. It’s a striking table, certain to make a statement in any room. less
