A beautiful view of a street scene in Paris. This painting perfectly depicts life in Paris with its restaurants, busy streets, cafes, hotels, monuments, and wonderful architecture. The location apprears to be near Notre Dame Cathedral not far from Berthillon famous ice cream shop on the charming Ile St Louis.
The painting is signed by Jan Gridmall and dated 1952. The artist' biography was not found. However, he or she certainly had a great command to colors and capturing of a mood and time.
