The standing father bear the lying mother bear and four baby bear figurines were created by the Danish artist Knud Kyhn (1880-1969) in 1957.
Knud Kyhn worked for for Royal Copenhagen from 1903-1910, 1924-1932 and 1936-1967. During this period he created many lively figurines of moving and playing animals among them bears..
The bear sculptures are marked with model number and all with the 3 blue waves by Royal Copenhagens as evidence of top quality and the scuptures are in excellent condition.
